Calgary Sport Council
The Calgary Sport Council is a volunteer non-profit society, representing sport in the City of Calgary. As an advocate of sport, Calgary Sport Council strives to assist, support and influence the growth of sport in Calgary. Canadian Olympic Committee
A national, private and not-for-profit organization, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is responsible for all aspects of Canada's involvement in the Olympic and Pan America Games. These include a wide array of cultural and educational programs that serves to promote the Olympic Movement in local communities.
As one of the founding partners of Canadian Sport Centres across Canada, the COC is dedicated to providing athletes with the most comprehensive services available.

Canadian Paralympic Committee
The Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) is a non-profit, charitable, private organization that is recognized by the International Paralympic Committee. The CPC delivers programs that strengthen the Paralympic Movement in Canada, including sending Canadian teams to the Paralympic Games. The CPC empowers persons with physical disabilities, through sport, at all levels.

Canadian Sport Centre Calgary
The Canadian Sport Centre Calgary (CSCC) is one of the top Olympic sport training environments in the world and a member of a network of eight centres across Canada. The CSCC strives to develop a positive and comprehensive environment focused on excellence for Canada's best athletes and coaches by providing access to world leading sport experts and programs.
The CSCC's mission is to support high performance athletes and to achieve podium performances in international competition through a holistic process.

Canada's Sports Hall of Fame
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame is one of the oldest Halls of Fame in North America. Canada's Sports Hall of Fame recognizes and honours Canada's sports heroes. It is the Hall's vision to inspire Canadian identity and national pride by telling the compelling stories of those outstanding achievements that make up Canada's sports history.
After the closure of the existing Canada Sports Hall of Fame in Toronto, WinSport Canada won the honour to donate part of their land to give the Canada Sport Hall of Fame a new home. The new location will be at Canada Olympic Park, across from the Markin MacPhail Centre at the Victory Plaza. The 40,000 square foot facility will be completed by February 2011 and federal, provincial and municipal governments have committed to funding this move.

National Sport School
In 1994, WinSport Canada and the Calgary Board of Education established the National Sport School (NSS) to support high performance student-athletes. The school enables students to compete internationally without compromising their studies. The innovative program offered at the NSS delivers personalized plans for structured learning with teachers, parents and coaches. The NSS team is committed to providing an environment for student-athletes to pursue excellence in both their athletic and academic endeavours. From Grades 9 to 12, the school is home to 150 student-athletes and when away at competitions, the students work on their studies through distance learning over the internet.
More than 20 current and former NSS student-athletes competed for Canada in the 2006 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy. This represented more than 10% of the Canadian Team.

Own the Podium
Own the Podium 2010 (OTP) is a winter sport technical initiative designed to help Canada become the number one nation (total medal count) at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and to place among the top three nations (gold medal count) at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. The initiative is a partnership of Canada's 13 winter national sport organizations, the Canadian Olympic Committee, the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Sport Canada and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC).
